
Torre de la Horadada is the coastal village of Pilar de la Horadada. It is a very appreciated tourist area due to its sandy beaches, coves and the crystal mediterranean water. The landmark of this village is its defense tower, next to the marina, which was used in the past to defend from pirate attacks.
There is a magnificent promenade with around 20km connecting all the coastal villages, starting in San Pedro and finishing near Torrevieja
The population of this area is stationary and rises considerably during the summer months when it becomes most alive when more restaurants and shop open for the summer season and many events and festivities take place. Nevertheless, many restaurants and bars are opened all year round and all services are available within the village.
The main town, Pilar de la Horadada, is just 3km away where there are all kind of activities and events all year round. There is an easy access to N-332 road and AP-7 highway. Being in the boundary between Alicante and the Region of Murcia yo can go walking or cycling to the Regional Park of Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro and the mud baths and the Mar Menor or discover other beaches in the Orihuela Costa area. Two big shopping centers La Zenia Boulevard and Dos Mares are both a few km away. Alicante international airport is 50km away and Murcia international airport is 41km.
